The management of jos electricity distribution PLC has called on customers in katagun Emirate council to disregard campaign of calumny being unleased on the company by some persons in the area purporting to be representing the good people of the emirate who over the years had good and robust relationship with the company.
A news by the head,corporate communications,Dr Friday Adakole Elijah explained that the company as a responsible organization was working assiduously to satisfying her esteemed customer.
Dr Elijah who advised members of the public to desire from deliberately peddling rumours aimed at denigrating the electricity company said customers should always explore diplomatic ways of resolving issues.
We must guide against libellous statements that could hurt the interity and reputation of the company,the company as a juristic personality will not hesitate to seek remedial action in appropriate institutions he stated.
The spokesperson of the company also advised the perpetrators of this falsehood to desire from this ignoble path of black propaganda saying that the company’s energy supply to all her customers were within the ambit of regulations as orchestrated by the regulators overseeing the industry.
Dr Elijah call on members of the public to be law abiding as according to him,,the company is striving hard to meet her customers expectations.
He mentioned that the corporation of the consumers of electricity energy should always remember that they’re very special so they should do well to comply with the company in order to serve them better.
Dr Elijah call on public members to report any illegal activities they suspect going on around their area to their nearest office so as to avoid damages that will cause delay in the supply of electricity.
The mismanagement of some of these properties can lead to major damages,thereby causing slow or low voltage around that particular area.
He therefore urged customers to endeavor to pay for their consumed energy so as to enable the company serve them better.
